A mid-20^th century Russian Soviet 875 standard silver cigarette case, Moscow dated 1945 by the First Jewellery Silver Factory - Moscow Labour Guild

Of rectangular form with rounded corners, collet set cabochon foil backed paste push button release. The front embossed with a polar bear upon an ice sheet, with icebergs in the background before a rising sun. Engraved to the reverse with initials AB, inscription and date 25 III 45. Gilt interior. Marked to interior with soviet mark for 1927-54, and makers mark 1ЮФ.
