A CHINESE CELADON-GLAZED 'BATS AND PEACHES' VASE.

Qing Dynasty, Qianlong mark and possibly of the period.

The tapered quatrelobe-section body carved with stylised bats carrying branches of peaches among scrolling clouds between bands of banana leaves and lappets to the splayed foot and shoulder, the flared rim with key scroll border, all decorated with a pale celadon glaze, a six character Qianlong mark impressed to the base, 33cm H.
