ALBUM OF TRINIDAD VIEWS, late 19th century. Albumen and early silver prints (37), measuring between 8 x 7cm (smallest) and 26 x 20.5cm (largest), pasted page rectos and versos, some smaller prints two or more per page. Photographers include Felix Morin (three prints signed in the negative), with images depicting landscape views, ethnographic portraits, a fine view of a Pitch Lake and and East Indian festival; the album also contains 19 further early silver prints of Jersey. Housed in a folio measuring 37.5 x 28cm, leather with gilt stamped border and initials 'H.M.T.' on the upper cover, binding loss though cover is still attached.
