A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH ROSEWOOD AND GILT BRONZE MOUNTED SECRETAIRE CABINET the superstructure with arched central cupboard flanked by shorter cubpoards, all glazed and with egg and dart ormolu mounts, raised on a stand with a secretaire fall front drawer enclosing a gilt tooled leather writing surface, the drawer with ornate mount cast as a classical female mask, with classical herm mounts cast as Mars to the front legs, terminating in cartouche and paw feet, the back legs of cabriole form, 187cm high x 122cm wide x 58cm deep
