A late 19th century Chinese Export silver card case, Hong Kong circa 1900, probably by Chang Li
Of rectangular form with rounded edges, a pull off lid. The front with a vacant shield shape cartouche against chased iris flowers reserved with a textured background, the obverse with a flowering prunus tree branch with a bird. Marked to the internal bezel with an artisan mark Chang Li 昌利 and numerals 85 only.
