A FIRST QUARTER 19TH CENTURY SILVER GILT MOUNTED MEERSCHAUM PIPE SET IN ROSEWOOD CASE

of military theme, the hookah type pipe carved to the front with a crowned eagle amongst flags, the mounts George IV sterling silver gilt with chased decoration of foliate scrolls, centered with a medallion of a horse and rider, marked London 1825 by Edward Witham, together with horn accessories and Old Sheffield Plate canister. Housed in a blue velvet lined Rosewood travelling box with campaign style brass mounts.
