***In 2003 Steven Klein collaborated with Madonna, creating an exhibition installation called X-STaTIC PRO = CeSS which featured the photo shoot on W Magazine and seven shoots for the video. The installation ran from 28 March to 3 May 2003 in the New York Gallery Deitch Projects. The title came from a song called “X-Static Process” in Madonna’s 2003 album American Life. To accompany the exhibition, a book was also published in a limited edition.
