An early 20th century Burmese unmarked silver betel box, Northern Burma circa 1910
Of cylindrical form with pull off domed lid. The body with embossed vignettes of jataka scenes of figures and animals, all above a band of stylised leaves. The pull off lid with similar embossed vignette of two figures reserved with foliate scrolls and rosettes. The underside with an engraved sigil of a peacock.
