A LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH TORTOISESHELL AND ORMOLU MANTEL CLOCK RETAILED BY HARROD'S, in the Boulle style, with gilt bronze cockerel finial over a pagoda top and straight sides with glazed panels to the sides, with Greek key mounts to the bae and raised on four tapering foliate feet, the front also glazed and with female mask apron, the white enamelled dial signed 'HARROD'S LTD LONDON S.W.', with Roman numerals and Arabic five minute markers, the twin barrel movement striking on a coiled steel gong, the backplate stamped 'BARILETT DEMONTABLE BREVETE SGDG' and 'SONNERIE PROGRESS SGDG', the movement numbered 12809, the sunburst pendulum similarly numbered,

38cm high
