AN ELM AND YEW WINDSOR CHAIR BY ERNEST GOODCHILD CIRCA 1940, the curved back with a central pierced vase splat and lower pierced heart motif flanked by spindles, with curved yew arms above downswept Shepherd's Crook supports, on cabriole supports joined by crinoline stretchers. 103cm high x 61.5cm wide x 50cm deep

Bought in 1953 from Heal and Son Ltd, Tottenham Court Road, London W1 by Allen Freer.
