A set of late 19th / early 20th century Chinese export silver cups and saucers, Shanghai circa 1900
Qing dynasty, comprising six cup and six saucers the cups of circular form with rounded base upon a collet foot, each with a shaped root wood style handle. The saucers of circular form with an applied wire edge and short collet foot. Both elements with cast and applied work of trailing Chinese dragons among clouds. The saucers with a flat chased character within a ring punched circular cartouche framed with incised concentric lines. Marked with artisan mark underneath cup and to front centre of saucers. (12)
