A PAIR OF LATE 19TH CENTURY FRENCH CHINOISERIE DECORATED AND ORMOLU MOUNTED NIGHT CUPBOARDS, IN THE FRENCH LOUIS XV STYLE, the bedside tables with shaped rectangular tops with painted, lacquered and gilt Japanned decoration of pagodas in rocky landscapes, each with a pair of frieze drawers with gilt bun handles, with gilt bronze Rococo style mounts and cabriole legs, with metal label for Haentges of Paris applied to the inside of the one drawer,

Haentges Frères was a firm of bronziers and cabinet-makers working in Paris at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries.
