A mid-20th century Iranian (Persian) silver vase, Isfahan circa 1950 by Abbas Parvaresh

Of rounded tapering form upon a tapering collet foot, the waited beck with an everted beaded rim. The body with relief chased monabbat-kari peonies interspaced with shaped cartouches with engraved ghalam zani scenes of Shah Mosque in Isfahan and the Khaju Bridge, Isfahan. Otherwise, all reserved with arabesques, foliage and cranes, the underside of lower relief peonies each with two pigs. Marked underneath with workshop mark Parvaresh پرورش and signature عباس and standard mark (۸۴).
