Transitional period, circa 1644.

The tapered cylindrical body painted with vases, musical instruments, scholar's rocks and other decorative items, with two dragon head handles, the interior of the rim with stylised foliage and lappets, all supported on a short splayed foot, the cover with blossoms, fruit and insects and a blossom finial, 19cm H. (2)
