The field with delicate floral and leafy vine together with stylised cloudbands around floral and tree motif cusped medallions with pendants. Ivory spandrels similar. In serrated rosettes and arabesque border between floral and plain stripes. This rug has full pile, very soft silk quality. Both ends and selvages are original. Extremely fine weave, approx;9 x 9 knots per sq. cm; woven on silk foundation. Small stain at the one end kilim. In general this rug is in very good condition throughout. Attractive piece.
