A MID 19TH CENTURY WHITE MARBLE MALE PORTRAIT BUST BY JOHN EDWARD JONES (IRISH 1806-1862) dated 1859, believed to be a portrait of Benjamin Disraeli, 1st Earl of Beaconsfield, KG, PC, FRS (British 1804 – 1881), modelled in middle age with furloughed brow and downcast expression, wearing a full robe wrapped around the body up to the neck, set on a slight angle to the base, carved as a large leger or book of legislation, the left side of the base signed 'J. E. Jones S.Sc., London. 1859', 73cm high, 53cm wide, 32cm deep
