A FINE BIJAR RUNNER, NORTH-WERST PERSIA

The light soft light red field with single column of nine multicoloured serrated floral pole-medallions flanked by linked and stepped herati pattern stylised frame. In pale sea-green border of palmettes and leafy vine between ivory floral and barber-pole stripes. Outer plain stripe, appro:381cm. x 92cm Very good type and nice bold design. Colours are well balanced. This runner has full pile with tiny dot like repair, barley visibe. Selvages original. Ends with short fringes, secured. In general this runner is in very good conditon. Very good furnishing size. Attractive.
