A Charles I mid-17th century silver penner, probably London circa 1640 by WB with three pellets below (unidentified)

Of tri-form tubular form with pull off cap and trefoil shaped screw cap terminal. Internal quill holder. The pull of cap with a seal end with a complex mirror cypher. The screw cap terminal engraved with contemporaneous initials R*M in Roman script. Makers mark twice to screw cap terminal and once to interior of shaft (wax ball holder).

Length – 12.3 cm / 4.8 inches

Weight – 46 grams / 1.48 ozt
