A late 19th / early 20th century Japanese silver bowl, Yokohama circa 1900 by Watanabe
Meiji period, of hemispherical form with scalloped rim upon a spreading circular foot. The exterior embossed with chrysanthemum pattern, all against as stippled ground. The foot with engraved with chrysanthemums. The interior double skinned and fluted to follow the rim. Marked underneath with maker’s mark (seal form) and jungin mark.
