The exterior decorated with deities, animals and ritual objects emerging from lotus blossoms floating on a stylised pond, divided by gold Kirtimukha masks suspending tassels, all between bands of shou characters alternating with Bajixiang, a double vajra surrounded by lotus petals to the centre, the base with a two character iron-red Baragon Tumed mark in Mongolian script, 22cm.

The original Baragon Tumed service was made for the daughter of the Daoguang Emperor, married to a Mongolian prince of the Tumed banner.
