An early 20th century Anglo - Indian unmarked silver dressing table box, Bombay circa 1920
Raj period. Each of rectangular form with a hinged lid. The lid embossed with a scene of a farmer with five cattle, the front of the base with a stampede of elephants with one tumbling over, the base reverse with a hunter with three hounds shooting at a pack of wolves, the sides with either wolves or elephants.
Length – 18.4 cm / 7.25 inches
