An early 20th century Anglo – Indian silver bowl, Bombay circa 1910
Raj period. Of rounded circular form upon a domed pedestal foot. The body with embossed decoration in hunting pattern, depicting three elephants in disarray, boar being pursued by a man with a sword, a spear wielding hunter on horseback with hounds pursing a lion. Stamped 99 incuse to foot rim edge.
