Two photograph albums, the first with 163 mountaineering scenes: Mont Blanc, ‘Sommet du Buet’, ‘Glacier du Bossous’, Eiger, Grindelwald ice grotto, with other views and scenes in numerous French and Swiss locations, some partially hand-coloured, including: Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Chillon, Lausanne, Berne, Lucerne, Champery; The second album with 101 views, including an opening photograph of the travel party titled ‘Notre voiture d’excursions a Jersey’, followed by topographical views of Jersey, Isle of Wight, Carisbrooke Castle, Brittany, St Malo; captioned and numbered within plates, manuscript annotations in French, albumen prints, v.s., c.1890s (2)
