A pair of Roman earrings, circa 2nd century CE

Each of domed, quarter spherical design, with scrollwork accents to the reverse, later contemporary hook fittings, length 2.7cm

Provenance: Property of a private collection. Purchased from Kojis Antique Jewellery, London, 2015. Accompanied by a photocopy of an insurance document from Kojis stating that the gold earrings are Roman, circa 2nd century AD, dated 13th March 2015.
