A late 19th century silver bowl, either Anglo – Indian, Poona or Burmese circa 1890

of cylindrical form with a rounded base, the body with embossed decoration of figures in the Burmese style against a ring punched background within architraves, all between scrolling foliage bands. The underside with a simple chased rosette.

Diameter – 11.3 cm / 4.5 inches

Height – 8.75 cm / 3.3 inches
