AN EGYPTIAN GLAZED COMPOSITION BABOON AMULET New Kingdom, Circa 1550 - 1069 B.C. Depicted squatting, with a fur-cape and detailed moulded facial features, wearing a horned sun-disc headdress, with inscribed hieroglyphs on the base, 4.2cm high. Provenance: Ex Bonham's, 4 July 1996, lot 503; Private collection of a lady, Rome.
