The present work, a copy after the drawing by Taddeo Zuccaro now at the J. Paul Getty Museum, Los Angeles (99.GA.6.17), was published in Florence in 1774 by Stefano Mulinari in his Disegni originali d'eccellenti pittori esistenti nella Real Galleria di Firenze" (plate XXVI).
