The cover incised with two quatrefoil figurative panels reserved on a floral diaper ground within a key fret border, the body carved with deer, monkeys, birds and butterflies lurking among large blossoms and foliage, all enclosed in key fret bands, the interior, liner and underside coated with black lacquer, 41.5 x 10 x 10.5cm.
