A mid- 20^th century Thai silver bowl, probably Bangkok circa 1950

of tapering compressed circular form, raised on three bun feet. The central section with embossed decoration of the twelve signs of the Chinese zodiac within foliate scrolls and rosettes, with a similar upper band, the bottom section with a border of stylised betel leaves. Engraved to underneath edge 100% AUOU.
