A late 19^th / early 20^th century Anglo – Indian unmarked silver sugar bowl, Kashmir circa 1900

Raj period, in the form of a kang, rounded upon a collet foot with an applied loop handle chased to resemble snakes’ heads. The body with chased decoration in mosaic pattern of rosettes and foliate scrolls within shaped flowing architraves. The upper section with am embossed band chased to resemble a snake with a head at each end.
