comprising two that look to be a pair, each depicting two bands of fighting warriors, flanked by buildings, trees and flowers, and raised on pierced and carved wood stand, together with two further carved pearl shell low reliefs, one depicting Europeans within a Chinese landscape, also on stands,

Provenance: Marie-Claude Fabius, a respected London antiques dealer was passionate about her treasured shell collection, amassed over many years. She descended from a long dynasty of famous Parisian antique dealers.
