The body potted with deep sides rising from a short foot and painted with various treasures, such as books of texts tied with ribbon, vases, censers and auspicious emblems, set with a looping handle decorated with flowerheads opposite a gently curving spout, the sloping shoulder painted with butterflies hovering over ripe melons issuing from scrolling leafy vines, the domed cover with auspicious emblems and topped with a moulded gilt-painted finial
