A late 18th century unmarked gilt metal mounted Staffordshire enamel bonbonniere, circa 1780
Of egg form, with a hinged lid raised by a scrolling thumbpiece. The royal blue enamel ground heightened with 'honeysuckle' pattern with gilt scroll cartouches painted with three classical architectural scenes.
