Ebsen (Buddy)

Carbon copy of a contract between Metro-Goldwyin-Mayer Inc, George Bassman and Buddy Ebsen regarding the song 'Mail Order Bride', confirming that Bassman has written the musical composition when employed by MGM and he is therefore entitled to the copyright, whilst Ebsen has written the lyric without working for the studios and "he is not to receive credit of any kind or description or to participate in any income from this music", signed by Bassman and Ebsen in various inks at close, one page, light browning and creasing, 4to, 21 November 1963.
