Each bowl delicately potted with gently-flared rims and straight feet, painted to the exterior with grasshoppers perched amidst a scattering of lotus flowers, wild orchids and peonies, the covers similarly decorated, all on a cafe-au-lait ground, the covers and bases inscribed with six-character Daoguang seal marks in iron-red
