A MAPLE & CO MAHOGANY DESK, CIRCA 1900, the rectangular top with three sections of tooled green leather inlay, and a carved gadrooned edge, the centre rising to reveal a well fitted with satinwood drawers and pigeonholes, over a central faux drawer and two pedestals of three short drawers, flanked by fluted and carved detail, with brass swing handles and backplates, on tapering fluted legs terminating in castors, one drawer stamped 'MAPLE & CO LTD'.
