A mid-20th century Cambodian unmarked silver covered bowl on stand (Tok), circa 1940-60
Circular form with a rounded basin upon a screw fixed stand formed as three supports modelled as kinnara upon a domed base. The domed pull off lid surmounted by a screw fitted finial formed as a ogee chased knop. The main body and feet with chased decoration of flame scrolls and rosettes. The lid with Thephanom figures and Himaphan faces. Lined interior to body, base, and foot.
