An Elizabeth I mid-18th century Russian 84 zolotnik (875 standard) silver vodka cup (charka), Moscow 1746 by Gavrila Artemyev (active 1704-1746)
Of rounded circular form with everted lip and upon a collet foot. The base with embossed fluting below a flat chased band of foliate scrolls against a textured ground. Marked underneath with assay mark, maker’s mark (ГA) and for assayer Andrey Zaitsev (1735-1749).
