A HICKS & MEIGH "WATERLILY" IRONSTONE PART DINNER SERVICE, EARLY 19TH CENTURY

A HICKS & MEIGH "WATERLILY" IRONSTONE PART DINNER SERVICE, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, decorated in the Imari palate, with a central lotus flower design and conforming designs to the rim, with stylised foliate design banding to the edge, printed marks to base, IRONSTONE WARRENTED NO 5, to comprise twenty seven plates 24.5cm diameter, a tureen stand 31cm diameter, five plates 21cm diameter, eight soup bowls 24cm diameter, various damages, with two additional plates with repairs and restorations (qty)

This collection of plates is mostly in good condition, most have printed marks, they would benefit from washing, a number of plates have glaze spits, one plate has a chip to the rim, as noted one plate is broken and glued, there is also a cracked bowl.
