A TINNED BRASS MANGO GUNPOWDER FLASK
Northern India, late 18th - early 19th century

Shaped as a mango terminating in a bird's head, at the top and to the side cylindrical openings linked by a small curved handle with minute thumb-rest in the middle, now deprived of their original stoppers, mounted on a later metal stand, 11cm high excluding the mount.
