Emilio De Bono Collection of letters, notes and photographs related to Italian general Emilio De Bono, mostly related to his interest in the development of Italian aviation and his connections with aircraft manufacturer Caproni, including: autograph signed note to Gianni Caproni saying he has tried the airplane CA97 meant for Tripolitania in Lybia and thinks it is excellent, 14 July 1929; a few typed letter signed; vintage black and white photographs of De Bono with other officers on airfields; various newspaper clippings; telegrams sent and received by De Bono, c. 1920s-1930s (quantity)
