Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows - A William IV sterling silver snuff box, Birmingham 1835 by John Tongue

Of rectangular form with incurved sides with chased foliate rims. The lid engraved with a presentation inscription “Presented by the members of the Loyal Earl of Wilton lodge, M.U of the I.O of O.F to Mr David Madeley for his valuable services in promoting the Establishment of the said lodge, 28th June 1838”. Gilt interior. Fully marked between base and lid.
