AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FIGURE OF STRIDING ANUBIS Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. Depicted with his left leg advanced, and arms held straight at his sides, with clenched fists, his large ears pointed upwards, he wears a pleated kilt and a tripartite wig, standing on an integral rectangular base, 11.1cm high. Provenance: With Rupert Wace Ancient Art; Private collection of a lady, Rome, acquired prior to 2004.
