A FINE MID 19TH CENTURY FRENCH MAHOGANY FOUR GLASS MANTEL CLOCK SIGNED IMBERT, PARIS the case with pilasters, glazed sides and back door, raised on a plinth base, the gilt foliate bezel enclosing the white enamelled dial with Roman numerals and Arabic quarter hour markers, signed 'Imbert a Paris', with Brequet style hands, the movement with outside countwheel striking on a bell, with bi-metallic compensating pendulum with large brass bob, with winder, 40cm high Please Note: This lot will be on display at our South Kensington branch from 29th May until it goes on view at Chiswick from 7th June. Provenance: From a private collection. Condition: Seen running in owner's home, but not fully tested or guaranteed. PLEASE NOTE: This clock is NOT month going as stated in the catalogue.
