A PANEL OF THREE SAFAVID KUBACHI FIGURAL POTTERY TILES

Comprising three square tiles, each underglaze painted in cobalt blue, copper green, ochre, and red, the design outlined in black, each featuring a central lobed medallion with figural decoration including a youth holding a flower bud and two maidens surrounded by vegetation and blossoming flowers, the outer corners decorated with red and blue arabesque designs, mounted on a modern wooden panel, 16.5cm x 50.5cm.
