A ROMAN AUBERGINE GLASS FLASK Circa 3rd - 4th Century A.D. With extensive surface iridescence, the flask with a bulbous body and a waisted neck that flares to the open mouth, with applied white trail on the body in a zig-zag pattern between two bands, 9cm high. Published: F. Siltine, Histoire du Verre: L'Antiquité, Paris, 2005, p. 84. Provenance: Collection of M. & Mme. Nobili, Paris, acquired prior to 1985.
