A good early 20th century Japanese silver bowl, Yokohama circa 1900 probably by Arthur and Bond (active circa 1889-1923)

Meiji period. Of compressed circular form upon an everted collet foot. The exterior with flat chased decoration of large roses incorporating an integral seam. Double skinned interior. Engraved signature to the side for Ho Min Koko. Marked underneath with Jungin mark and stamped STERLING.

Height – 10 cm / 3.95 inches

Weight – 1075 grams / 34.56 ozt
