An early 20^th century Indian unmarked silver presentation scroll holder, circa 1939

Of cylindrical form with pierced and chased band of foliate scrolls. A shaped cartouche to each side, one engraved with presentation inscription “Presented to W. R. Pepper, Esq. A.M.I.E.E., A.M.I.M.E., 1939” the obverse with “by The Indian Staff, Head Office, The Calcutta Tramways Co Ltd”.
