A ROMAN GLASS DOUBLE BALSAMARIUM Circa 4th - 5th Century A.D. Of typical form with conjoined tubes, with flared mouths, the two applied handles on each side merge into pinched ribbons running the length of vessel, 12cm high.  Published: F. Siltine, Histoire du Verre: L'Antiquité, Paris, 2005, p.75. Provenance: Collection of M. & Mme. Nobili, Paris, acquired prior to 1985.
