AN AMERICAN EMPIRE CARVED CHAIR, circa 1825-35, of large proportions, the hump back with a foliate ornately carved top rail, flanked by outswept scrolling sides, the back and seat upholstered in mustard fabric, on ornately carved foliate supports terminating in carved lion paw feet (restoration).
